It’s all about the journey
Many roads have been taken that have led me to where I am today.
I’m a classically trained singer who always loved singing everything else. While opera is (of course) my first love, my passion for other musical styles forced me to find a technique that could support my vocal health while I tried to produce every sound my heart desired.
Since I was 15, I studied classical technique (lyric) with renowned singers in Costa Rica, Chicago, and Barcelona.
In order to help my students (and myself) develop a more holistic, healthier, and robust technique, I got certified by New York Vocal Coaching, where I studied with founder Justin Stoney. I also hold a Master’s degree in Voice Pathology from the Universidad Católica de Murcia in Spain.
I have performed in operas, musicals, festivals, concerts, weddings, corporate events, family affairs, the shower, you name it! This is why I have had to become a versatile vocalist- one that can adapt to the different needs of the moment.
I also have a BA in Public Relations and Communications, and I have had the opportunity to work in different multinational companies and exciting start-ups.
Happiness and wellbeing is one of my biggest passions. I try to bring these elements to everything I do, whether in the corporate world, on a personal level, or in my voice studio. This is why I studied with renowned happiness consultant Samantha Clarke, completing her signature certification program Changemaker.
Singing for wellbeing
Focusing on total wellbeing, while working on vocal technique is my biggest passion. I wholeheartedly believe that when we sing, our bodies vibrate to a higher state. Working with your voice can help release tension brought from trauma, anxiety, or day-to-day stress. What our bodies withhold can turn into disease or illness. Singing can help liberate this and transform your vocal practice into therapy in the form of art.
